The National Teaching Council (NTC) has opened the portal for re-sit candidates in the traditional (old GTLE) teacher licensure Examination.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 22ND APRIL, 2024. THERE WILL BE NO EXTENSION
EXAM STARTS: ON MAY 10TH, 2024
NOTE
This registration is only for re-sit candidates of the traditional GTLE. As a result of the implementation of GTLE reform which started last year, the Council is giving a final chance to candidates who have outstanding papers to write in the traditional GTLE (Essential Professional Skills, Literacy and Numeracy). After this, there will be no examination for the traditional subjects in 2024 and beyond. Any candidate of the traditional GTLE who would like to write GTLE afterward will have to start afresh with the reformed GTLE in 2024 and beyond.
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who wrote the traditional Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination but were unsuccessful in some papers may register to re-sit. The candidates are to apply online and complete the application form for the licensure examination.
FEES FOR REGISTRATION
a. Candidates who are re-sitting a paper are to pay GHȻ 150.00.
b. Candidates who are re-sitting two (2) papers are to pay GHȻ 210.00.
c. Candidates who are re-sitting all three (3) papers are to pay GHȻ 385.00.
