ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. MSc Programmes

• Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field from a recognized institution.

• Minimum qualification: Second Class Lower division.

• All applicants must pass a selection interview.

2. 4-Year BSc/BTech Programmes

• SSSCE/WASSCE/GBCE Applicants: Six credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, and Social Studies/Integrated Science plus three relevant electives.

• NABPTEX/CTVET Applicants: Six credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, and Social Studies/Integrated Science plus three relevant electives.

• Mature Applicants: Must be at least 25 years old, possess at least five passes including English and Mathematics, have at least three years’ work experience, and pass a university examination.

3. Top-Up Programmes

• Open to holders of HND, ACCA, ICA, Diploma, Construction Technician Part II/III, or equivalent qualifications relevant to the programme.

4. HND Programmes

• SSSCE/WASSCE/GBCE Applicants: Six passes including English Language, Mathematics, and Social Studies/Integrated Science plus three relevant elective credits.

• NABPTEX/CTVET Applicants: Six passes including English Language, Mathematics, and relevant electives.

• Accepts DBS, DCA, DBTA, DBA, RSA, MET, MVT, GCC/CTC, City & Guilds, and related certificates.

• Teachers’ Certificate holders may apply.

• Mature Applicants: Must be at least 25 years old, possess four passes including English and Mathematics, have two years’ work experience, and pass an entrance examination.

• Engineering applicants must have Science background; Hotel/Catering applicants must have Home Economics/Catering background.

5. 2-Year Diploma Programmes

• SSSCE/WASSCE/GBCE/RSA II Applicants: Four passes including English Language and Mathematics plus two relevant electives.

• Technical School Applicants: Passes in English, Mathematics, Integrated Science/Social Studies plus three electives.

• Technician and vocational certificate holders may apply with additional requirements.

• NVTI Certificate II and CTVET National Certificate I holders may apply.

• Mature Applicants: Must be at least 25 years old, possess three passes including English or Mathematics, have two years’ work experience, and pass an interview/exam.

• Engineering/Science applicants must have Science/Technical background.

6. One-Year Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology

• Requires at least three passes including English, Mathematics or Science plus two Science/Agriculture electives.

• Mature applicants must be at least 25 years old, have two passes including English or Mathematics, one year work experience, and pass an interview/exam.

7. PRE-HND (ACCESS) COURSE

• For Science, Vocational, or Technical graduates lacking full HND requirements.

• One-year preparatory programme in English, Mathematics, and Science.

• Minimum 50% pass required in all subjects to qualify for HND programmes including:
